Transfer Window Closes 23rd August – Irish Life Dublin Half Marathon

AUGUST 14TH, 2026
With the transfer window for the Irish Life Dublin Half Marathon closing on Sunday, 23 August at 23:59, Dublin Marathon Group is reminding runners to ensure that any transfer of an entry is completed through the official Eventmaster transfer system.
Using the official transfer process is important to ensure that the person taking part is correctly registered for the event.
When an entry is officially transferred, the new runner provides their own personal and emergency details as part of the process. This means we have the correct information for the person who will actually be taking part on race day.
Any entries transferred outside the official Eventmaster transfer system will be cancelled.
Why is this important?
- From a health and safety perspective, having the correct runner information allows our team to identify a participant quickly and access the appropriate personal and emergency details if required.
- The official transfer process also ensures the new runner receives the correct bib number and all relevant participant communications ahead of race day.
- It also protects the integrity and fairness of the race results. Finish times, age categories and results must be attributed to the person who actually completed the race, particularly where performances may impact age-category results, prizes or official race records.
Protection from Scams
We are also aware of scams promoting fake or invalid entries through social media and other unofficial channels.
Using the official transfer process gives runners confidence that an entry has been transferred legitimately and correctly through the event registration system.
You can check whether your Irish Life Dublin Half Marathon entry is legitimate by entering the email address and order ID of the ticket holder HERE.
