There’s a 25% discount on parking at all Q-Park locations Christchurch, St Stephens Green and The Spire.
This offer is available from October 25th via pre-booking only. It is not available at the car parks on the event day.

The Irish Life Dublin Marathon will start at Fitzwilliam Street Upper on Sunday, October 26th at 8:40 am and finish in Merrion Square North up to 5 pm. There are several road closures in place. Please allow time to travel on Sunday; there may be some delays to public transport services to facilitate the Irish Life Dublin Marathon.

DART Information


Due to a series of major rail works taking place between Clontarf Road and Howth / Dundalk over the weekend, please note that both for race number collection on Saturday 25th October and marathon day Sunday 26th October:
No DART services will operate between Connolly and Howth / Malahide.  DART services are operating between Connolly and Bray / Greystones only, with an additional DART at 07:05hrs from Greystones to Dublin Connolly, serving all stations en route.
No Northern Commuter services will operate between Dundalk / Drogheda and Dublin Connolly.
An additional Maynooth Commuter service will operate at 06:50hrs, serving all stations to Dublin Pearse.

To facilitate the Irish Life Dublin Marathon 2025, five stations will be closed.
The stations affected are listed below:
Merrion Square East (25) – Closed from 2pm Friday 24th – 10am Monday 27th
Merrion Square West (26) – Closed from 2pm Friday 24th  – 10am Monday 27th
Merrion Square South (113) – Closed from 2pm Friday 24th – 10am Monday 27th
Mount Street Lower (56) – Closed from 2pm Friday 24th– 10am Monday 27th
Wilton Terrace (39) – Closed from 2pm Friday 24th – 10am Monday 27th


Please note all times are approx.
Access may be restricted to other stations bound by the race route on the day. We apologise for any inconvenience caused by these closures which are beyond our control.
dublinbikes users are advised not to cycle on the race route during the course of the event and should heed the directions of official race stewards.
