The amount of intake will be based on 500mls vessels and amount taken will be recorded throughout the entire course.
At the finish line you will be required to provide a small sample of blood to a Doctor. This will be tested using a medical standard blood analyser to check your kidney function, measuring your lactate level (bio product of metabolism), blood gas and indirect haematocrit level
Those chosen to take part in the study will be required to sign a consent form. Data collected will be anonymised and only used to report on the findings of the study.
